Alcohol dehydrates us, best keep away from alcohol and stick to soft drinks or water, especially us oldies, we need to keep hydrated. Even if it does mean innumerable trips to the loo. ;D

Save the amber liquid until the cooler weather, then you can enjoy it more.

LM ...but not coffee - it's dehydrating! :o  In Austria when you are served coffee in a restaurant you are always served with a glass of water at the same time.  I never knew why until a Viennese lady explained the significance of the water glass to me.

I like a half and half glass of orange juice and water in hot weather, though my daughter frowns on the orange juice, saying that there is too much sugar in it!  You just can't win.  Water alone is a bit boring. ::)

I like soda and lime, quite refreshing.

Regards  my fall, I couldn't get a reply from  the surgery so actually  visited in person, the receptionist sent me straight  to A&E,  some 5 hours later I was allowed home  got to take it easy, still in pain but hey ho no fractures, they xrayed my knee, hip and spine, over 65's,  and I admit to being that have to have a test,  so 10 quick fire questions, one being  " what is that? "  " a handbag" " what do you have in it?" " my purse, mobile and a load of junk " well he laughed but he was very nice, got them all ✅ , phew.
So many waiting , one woman flanked by 2 police officers,  some most unsavoury,  came home, stripped off and had a bath.
So, got to take it easy,  some hopes, whilst I am on 2 feet I am up and walking,  tomorrow  is another day.
Well after my morning cuppa my next coffee, if I have another before lunch I will have a cup of water as well, don't  think I drink enough to be honest
Keep cool folks

I'm a little tired of the buzz word "hydrated", but try to keep up my liquid intake, especially in hot weather.  It's really important for us oldies. ;)

It's forecast 32 degrees here tomorrow, they're not going to convince me that it's near Christmas in those sort of temperatures  :D
