Just watching the programme about the Moors Murders.
The search of the moors was called off - expense!
How much did it take to keep Bradley and Hindley in prison ——in relative comfort ?
The anguish of Keith Bennett’s family was of less importance it would seem and Brady and Hindley still had a great measure of control .

I can remember Lord Longford saying Lesley Anne Downey’s mother was” a hysterical,mother”———-
It was almost beyond belief, she had to identify her little girl’s remains after they were recovered from the peat of the moors.
After months underground.
So much evidence has been locked away that could have helped and what right had Brady to private papers lodged with a Solicitor that have still not been handed over?

In the words of a Dickens character—-“ The Law is a ass!”
Well we know they do a good job but sometimes there are cases like this that must make many really sad and angry.
It does me!
Viktoria.

Baking hot here today, 32 degrees and of course it brings lots of people to the beaches to enjoy themselves but also there are the inevitable bad news reports. Several children rescued from the sea, thank goodness they were brought back alive. Lifeboat has also been called out to a boat, hope the outcome of that is good news.

And a car that someone thought was a good idea to drive on the beach, is now floating in the sea. There's always one.  ::)

Forecast tomorrow is down to 26°, can only hope for less bad news.
