Squires in buckland and surrounding

So I'm.confusing myself and feels like I'm going around in circles with a few people in my family tree.

John squire born around Buckland brewer Devon  possibly in 1818. Buckland is place given in cencuse but no more information regarding which Buckland
Married Jane marshell in 1840 or 41 I can't remember off the top of my head.
They are in Devon in 1841 cencus then move to St woolos Newport and are in the cencus there on.
They have daughters Amelia squire marshell out of wedlock in 1837
Mary ann in 1842 both born in Devon.

Now the only John squire born around the dates and place given in cencuse is John squire born to Daniel squire a yeoman and Sarah in 1817.

Could be other child but occupation is different or not given.

Found a Daniel and Sarah marrying in 1796, with that looking for Daniels birth found one in Bradford Devon to a Elizabeth squire in 1770 no fathers name given.

But it's not impossible but almost for a child born out of wedlock to become a yeoman.

Am I'm looking at the wrong people ?
As I said feel like I'm now going in circles.

Or was it Jane Marshall?  I suggest you obtain the marriage record which should give you their respective fathers' names.
