According to the transcript of his medal card shown on FindMyPast, he was awarded the British War Medal and Victory Medal. The General Service Medal was only awarded to those who served in minor operations (eg Palestine) after the end of the war in Europe. The actual medal rolls should be available on Ancestry.

To aid the search his number was 41541. He was in 10 platoon, C Company of the 7th battalion. He enlisted in February 1917 aged 18.

His Father Thomas Robert Woodward claimed his Army Pay Arrears and War Gratuity on 20  May 1920
His British War Medal and Victory Medal were sent to Him on 3 November 1920 and not Returned from 42 Dallow Road Luton
