The electoral roll for Autumn 1926 shows a Walter Burbidge living at 2 Rolleston St.

I would work on the possibility/probability that he was the child's father.

Thank you, thats really helpful. Not going into too much family history (😉) there is quite a tangled tale about my maternal grandma, Lucy and grandpa, Percy. Now I've got to figure out where Walter comes into the story!

On the same page is a marriage same day of Rachel Burbidge to Frank Rands, all 4 spouses live at 2 St. Leonards Terrace, Grundon Street and Rachel's details are the same for her father as Eleanor.
