I am seeking information on Elizabeth Houghton (and her parents/siblings) nicknamed as Betty. I have tried searching on Ancestry but all that pops up is her marriage certificate to my great-grandad. Before her marriage and afterwards, it's like she disappeared.
Birth: Unknown. Maybe in Liverpool or the Isle of Mann
Siblings: At least 2. Mary and Edward (known as Ted). I know Ted emigrated to Cananda, married and had kids there.
Spouse: Mark (died in 1988)
Children: Ian (died in 2004) and David (whereabouts unknown). She also had a child named Peter who was born before 1951. The family do believe Peter is now dead. However, records on Peter may be hard to find as it is believed she gave Peter to her sister Mary to raise. It is also believed Peter is the result of a relationship between Betty and an American solidier possibly whilst she was working as a waitress in the Isle of Mann.
Death: Sometime between 1998 - 2004. I know this because she was still alive when my brother was born (1997) but died before my parent moved homes (in 2004/5).
The only people who I knew who knew her (my dad and grandad) are both deceased now.
I am seeking any information on her full name (including middle names), DOB, date of death. Or any of this same information you can give me on her parents, siblings or Peter.
