Good Afternoon.
I agree that Elizabeth Cantrell is the daughter of Benjamin and Jane born 1718.
So Jane Buxton from Bradbourne is the key.
Looking at the possible baptisms
Jane d of Samuel and Mary 29.12.1701
Jane d of Richard and Mary 19.2.1700
jane d of John and Elizabeth 30.5.1694.
There are 3 marriages to George Roe 24.2.1714
Benjamin Cantrell 6.11.1717
George Waine 18.6.1718
The first marriage must be the older child.
That leaves yours and George Waine .Jane Waine is given as 1700 in her burial but she has a son Samuel while Jane Cantral has a son Richard .
So I would say Your Jane is the daughter of Richard and Mary ,not Samuel and Mary.
Now Richard Buxton marries 24.12.1699 by licence to Mary Johnson
He like Samuel is the son of Walter and Jane Buxton.
Walter and Jane's children- John born c 1656 ,Edmund bapt 1.1.1657 at Thorpe (wife Jane),Anne 19.8.1660 Ashbourne,Walter 31.7.1667 Ashbourne (wife Maud) ,Sarah 2.12.1669 Ashbourne,Thomas ,Samuel 20.8.1674 Bradbourne(wife Mary ),Richard 25.4.1677 Bradbourne (wife Mary Johnson) ,Martha 22.7.1679
Walter leaves a Will 1694 which includes his surviving children.
Edmund born 1721 must be the descendent of one of them, there is a baptism at Fenny Bentley 2.10.1722 s of Walter and Elizabeth
Walter Buxton 1693-1741 married Elizabeth Toplis at Ashbourne 8.10.1715.Walter is the son of Walter and Maud bapt 16.10.1694 at Bradbourne.
The fly in the ointment is that Walter doesn't mention his son Edmund i his Will of 1740/1.
But that would all connect up .
I'm surprised though that the DNA matches go back that far.
Two brothers Walter born 1667 and Richard 1674.
That's the best I can do.
