Hello I am interested in Hood of Selby, Yorkshire and wondering if this John Hood of Rathkennan? County of Tipperary Gent., had any Hood family connections outside of Ireland, please?
AMENDED:
I have a 7th June 1724 Will of Richard Peirson of Selby Yorkshire, that says his Brother was Thomas Firman and an Ireland connection (I purchased some years ago because I just felt I should buy it, as it might come in useful in the future) and the Will mentioned a family member in Ireland.
Then yesterday evening I discovered this ...
Briefly

... Maghereyneagh ... Magherryneagh ...
... and premises belonging and which were Granted in Mortgage by Thomas Firman of Selby in Yorkshire Gent to the said John Hood his heirs and assigns ...
AMENDED:
Text amended, it was the 1724 Will of Richard Peirson of Selby Yorkshire, that said his Brother was Thomas Firman and mentioned a link with Ireland.
The Will was also Registered as a Memorial Deed at Wakefield on 12th April 1733
