I have been researching my maternal side of the family, and hit a slight snag on my Great x2 Grandparents, William Loney & Mary Stevenson, they are the parents to my Great Grandfather, Thomas Benjamin Loney, who was born in Ballyleaney in Richhill in 1923, I have a marriage certificate in 1912 for a William Loney & Mary Stevenson in Randalstown in County Antrim, and I found my Great Grandfathers eldest siblings to be born in Newtownards, I am not sure what would have brought them to Antrim, so I presume it was work related if they were originally from County Armagh, on the marriage certificate it states William Loney's father was George Loney who was a labourer, and Mary Stevenson's Father was Thomas Stevenson who was a Painter, this is the only marriage certificate that I can find between a Loney and a Stevenson, and the forenames match, so I am very confident this is them, I was hoping someone could help me with the birth records/death records of William Loney & Mary Stevenson, all I know other than this is that Mary Stevenson died before my Grandmother was born, which was in 1948, so somewhere between 1923 and 48, while my Gran remembers her Grandfather William, but cannot remember when he passed, but he passed definitely before my Mum was born in 1969, so somewhere between 1948-69, I had been taken down a road which lead me to believe that they were from County Antrim, as I found a Loney family with George as the head, and a William in 1911, but William passed in 1913, so I realised that was not who I was looking for, but I believe there was a Loney family in Armagh with a George Loney. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
