On 1st November 1867 James Symonds married Ann Maria Pamenter at Swaffham Prior, Newmarket.
Can anyone identify her parents ?

Marriage cert is online - 2 of the witnesses are same surname. Have you looked for a birth reg or earlier census
What is her birthyear & birthplace on the 1871 census

In 1881 her age is recorded as 31 years (1850) and in 1891 , 42 years (1849)

And where was she born? Have you looked for her on earlier censuses? Have you checked freebmd for a birth reg?

Could be this birth, no mother's maiden name given, so probably unmarried

You can find her on the 1851 as Pamenter aged 2 & as Pamenter in 1861 aged 9
