I think you'd be far better putting this in one of the main boards (beginners, or common room), as it is a general question and there will be more traffic there.

If you then want help re family in Notts we can do our best!

(I've tried alerting the mods to ask them to move this for you but keep getting timed out so haven't been successful yet)
Bradbury (Sedgeley, Bilston, Warrington)
Cooper (Sedgeley, Bilston)
Kilner/Kilmer (Leic, Notts)
Greenfield (Liverpool)
Holyland (Anywhere and everywhere, also Holiland Holliland Hollyland)
Pryce/Price (Welshpool, Liverpool)
Rawson (Leicester)
Upton (Desford, Leics)
Partrick (Vera and George, Leicester)
Marshall (Westmorland, Cheshire/Leicester)

Also the coverage of British newspapers on Ancestry is not as good (imo) as that of the British Newspaper Archive, at the very least it is different.

BNA https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/. You can at least search and see if things are likely.

Your local library may have free access to GALE papers. Eg the Times

In general with the newspapers less is more. Especially as a lot/most of the “transcribing” is using OCR, so sometimes it is very weird.  If you think there really should be something and can hone in on dates, try changing the word you are using as your search.  Or have a look at the results you do get and try and figure out how the OCR is acting.
