1567 Plea rolls translation

I might be pushing my luck here with a third request for help in short order.

This cause from the National Archives/AALT runs over two images so would require more work (but also potentially be more interesting?):

Robert Kytchinman, plaintiff vs Anthony Smyth of Tollerton, husbandman, and Elizabeth Fountain of Tolthorpe [Tholthorpe], widow, trespass close and taking.

My guess is that Robert is from Carlton Husthwaite, although I can't see that mentioned.

Is there a change of hand about three quarters of the way down? I do like the doodles to fill the page, do they have a technical name?

Anthony Smyth of Tollerton, husbandman, and Elizabeth Fountans, of Tolthorpe, widow, to answer Robert Kytchynman for trespass: breach of his close and house at Tollerton and taking hay (herbam) worth 10 pounds and trampling and consuming other hay worth 100 shillings.

Anthony claims the land is his, called Holsondons Land. Robert claims the land is his, called Kytchyngmans Fermhold. The jury finds in favour of Robert and awards damages and costs.

The symbol at the bottom is an elaborate Roman numeral. This is roll No. 620.

Everything up to that point is a recitation of proceedings that had gone before. Then the details of the current hearing (by a jury, at York Castle) are recorded, followed by the judgment. Robert was claiming far higher damages (£40) than he was awarded (just under £7).

The Kitchingmans held lands in Carlton Husthwaite, Kilburn and Thirkleby in the C16 - all manors adjoining each other. This is the first reference to land in Tollerton, although it is only a few miles down the main road to York.

The earliest manorial records for Tollerton and Alne seem to be a survey of 1609-10 in the National Archives, quite a long time after this cause. There are some C16 probate records for Tollerton available online, including inventories,  if anyone stumbles on this:
