Dundalk St. Nicholas (Church of Ireland)
« on: Monday 28 July 25 05:09 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone,

I am having trouble finding some information that I located a few years back. The Church of Ireland records for St. Nicholas in Dundalk are on familysearch through 1803. I have notes that I believe I transcribed from a typed-manuscript for the same parish but births 1803-1841, marriages to 1828 and deaths to 1844. I have noted that they are from Register Book 3. I cannot find the link to the original typed manuscript for these. I believe when I found them it was a surprise and they were part of another collection that I didn't expect to find these. I'm pretty sure they were from another collection on familysearch either by author T. Paterson or Henry W. G. Scott who compiled several notes and extracts for the Armagh and Louth area. I have double checked the three note collections for Creggan where I thought these were. Does anyone know where I found this and possibly provide a link? For now, I am interested in these years alone but may be interested in additional (newer) years if anyone has these records as well. Thank you in advance. julius.machnikowski@yahoo.com

The FamilySearch system is undergoing maintenance at the moment, so the image viewer is not working, but item 2 on this film looks promising for Dundalk Church of Ireland records : https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/catalog/results?count=50&q.filmNumber=962930

Images for item two start about here : https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSZX-197R-K?cat=395670&i=467&lang=en

Thank you for the tip but unfortunately, I have looked at these records three times (including today) and the records from after 1803 are not there. I specifically have notes that I saw (what I believe were typed transcripts) of the Register Book 3, Baptisms 1803-1841, Marriages 1803-1828 and Burials 1803-1844. Can anyone verify where I found these online? I'm certain I found them on familysearch in a manuscript collection of parish notes/histories. Does anyone have access to the records themselves or have copies?
