Ship Clasmerden 1854

Looking for passenger list of ship 'Clasmerdon/Clasmerden arrived Melbourne 12 Nov 1854 from England.  Looked online but can't seemed to find anything.  Have Trove newspaper shipping intelligence mention.   I'm guessing passenger list must be still on old micro fiche?  Person I'm searching for is John Chester.

Passenger lists are indexed on PROV, if it isn't there then it hasn't survived.

The Clasmerdon was part of the Black Ball fleet and 6 ships sailed from Aug 1854 from Liverpool for Oz - Marco Polo, Clasmerdon, Constance, Champion of the Seas, David Mcivor and Indian Queen, arriving late 1854/early 1855.

Passenger records for the journeys by the Constance, Champion of the Seas and Indian Queen - nowt for Marco Polo, Clasmerdon or David Mcivor - are available at the site you have been referred to.

As advised, the record you are after doesn't appear to have survived.

Note - the Marco Polo has a record for its Oct 1855 arrival.

What's the source of your placing John Chester aboard the Clasmerdon?
Did spot a John Chester arriving from Liverpool in May 1855 aboard the Miles Barton - age 28, occpn. Farmer.
