Findmypast subscription levels

Morning all.
Does anyone know what records you can view  with the Family Tree subscription on FindMyPast?
I subscribed to the site yesterday but I can't view anything. I just get the upgrade to view message.
I did message them to cancel and ask for a refund, but they said "
On this occasion you are not eligible for a refund of this payment as you have already used this subscription so the cooling off period no longer applies."
Not sure how searching but being unable to view counts as using a subscription, but there you go , lesson learned.

The only benefit of FindMyPast is that it includes Newspapers.

I find that the searching on FindMyPast is not as good as Ancestry.

As it is Ancestry is cheaper and if you have or intend to take a DNA test then it is by far the best subscription site.

Lesson learned avoid and move on.

FindMyPast has better Irish records too.
Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

FindMyPast is the only real place online to get many Irish records, especially police and petty sessions.
I find it much more useful for Ireland than ancestry and its accursed 'hints' and nonsense.

I thought they had some Hertfordshire parish record images that I could plod through and find some baptisms, but unfortunately, as I said they sell a subscription without making it clear what you can or can't access. I searched, found a record I thought would help, and got the subscribe to view message. It offered the monthly Family Tree sub, so foolishly I thought that would allow me to access the record. It didn't :(

Ah I see, it appears they've changed the membership levels since I last had a subscription to FindMyPast. The "Family Tree" membership seems to give you almost nothing and is basically useless. You need the "Everything" membership to search actual records.

FindMyPast do have some records that Ancestry don't though. I have used it in the past for Hertfordshire and Glamorganshire records and also for the 1921 Census when it was first released, but generally I find Ancestry has more records of interest to me.

You can still search the indexes, but there is also this option which is a pay-per-view system:

Useful if you only require a limited number of records, or newspapers.
