Margaret Scott of Rennalburn Covenanter

I came across Margaret Scott of Rennalburn in Hyslop’s “Langholm as it was”. Apparently she was a Covenanter but Hyslop gives little further information about her other than referring to the sacrifice she made etc.
Does anyone have any further information on her? I’m thinking that she is either a wife or daughter of John Scott of Rennalburn who died in about 1696
