Morning folks,
Here beggineth another new week, won't mention time flying by but it certainly  is..

Saturday  in Deal we were very lucky as the deluge of rain came whilst we were having  lunch and ended  after we had finished lunch, how lucky we're we?. We have had rain overnight but the sun is in and out at the moment, do I trust it enough to hang washing out?, getting withdrawal  symptoms., not done  any since Friday.

Hope everyone managed to keep dry over the weekend, what a shame as the schools have broken up here.

Warm sunshine here on Saturday.
A wet day Sunday, with a downpour as I was getting to leave the yacht club.
Overcast so far today, but light rain forecast later.

Much needed rain for the gardens and the water butts are now full…

it’s such a pity that weekend events have been cancelled ( in my area).. Rockingham Castles reenactment w/e was cancelled, local car show, such a shame when so much hard work goes into the organising….
Previous w/end we were at Kimbolton castles country show and sheltering from the intense sunshine…

Glad LM you managed to dodge the showers and KG enjoying your events.
Looks like a mixed week… normal school holiday weather!
My daughter, hubbie and grandsons are off to Australia for 3 wks to visit my son… wish I could go with them but lots medical things going on so in the too hardbox at the moment..🥲.

Caroline,  I am sure  your family will bring you back lots of photographs  and info for you, in time you might be able to go, be positive.

KG , do you sail, just asking!!

Not having  a good day, somehow the kiddie lock has locked on my washing machine with washing  in it, initially I was able to open it but it is locked and I can't, even though followed instructions,    open it, Grrrrr!.,

No! It's a karaoke session, with snacks supplied. They are leftover from a function on Saturday. What we don't eat gets binned.

Off to hospital (again) on Friday - Pre-assessment clinic.
That's prior to an op (no date yet) to remove stone (Kidney/bladder?) fragments.

Meanwhile I have been referred to our National Sports Centre, and their "Healthy For Life Scheme".
8weeks free use of gym, spa and pool. :D

KG - sounds like a great scheme to have 8 wks free use of all those lovely gym facilities… hope you find them beneficial.

Oh dear LM child locks always a pain I’m constantly doing that on my cooker hob, no idea how I manage it but it’s a darn nuisance… hope you manage to sort it out ok.

3 brains been at ìt,  finally rang the shop where I bought it, the instructions  are diabolical,  wasn't even the right knobs to press, the shop was so good, we did have a laugh about it,  hopefully won't need to do it again, so washing being  done but won't go out till tomorrow.

Glad to hear you’ve sorted it LM… instructions can be vexing at times!
Once when my OH was trying to sort out some reading on our elec meter what ever he did following the electric companies info it wouldn’t give him the night readings… several phone calls later after  a lot of chuntering and helpful lady told him the instructions were useless and sent him a whole new lot that worked perfectly!
