Irish Census 1901

Good morning everyone, I am trying to find the 1901 census for the Naughton / Corcoran Family.  I can find the 1911, but the 1901 has evaded me for some time.

Father is Thomas Naughton or Naughten Born 1845, Castlebar
Wife is Bridget Naughton / Corcoran (married in 1874) born 1855 Doonaroya
Children are  Mary (Anne) Naughton B1875, Catherine Naughton B1876, james Naughton b1878, Bridget B1879, Margaret B1882, Patrick B1884, thomas B 1886, Norah B1889 and john B1891.

I have all the Birth Registrations, for all the children but not the 1901 census.  I have looked in the old and new National Census Archives and failed miserably.  Any idea what else I can do, and if not found what is likely the explanation for this record to be missing - thank you in advance

They were from County Mayo, are roman Catholic and the first child Mary was baptised in Addergoole, Mayo (where my family is from on my mother / Grandfather side).  I cannot upload the actual document it is too big

Additional Info: Catherine 1876, James 1878, Bridget 1879, Margaret 1882, Patrick 1884, Thomas 1886 and Honor 1889. All born at Doonaroya.

Yes that is the famil, and I do have 1911, I just am unable to find 1901.

You need to find the correct DED than find the townland and hope the image of the return is there.

I find the F S difficult - never seen it before, Sinann.
However, by chance I clicked on Deel and scrolled through to Knockbrack. Unfortunately, the information looks to be the same as the National Census 1901.

The family search is mind boggling.  When I was in the national Archives I chose Deel and did the two spellings of the surname.  That showed nothing.  I then took Deel out and just left Mayo.  Nothing.  I then chose each person by name, nothing

Looks like the return was either missed by the person doing the images or went missing at some point earlier.

At least with the house and building return you know they were living in Knockbrack with 6 people in the house on the 5th April 1901.

When I’ve looked through images for Dublin on FamilySearch the person doing the images kindly puts in a note if a name on the House and Building Return doesn’t have a Census return, very handy.
