Evening All, Im trying to locate the mother of Annie Burns DOB 02/03/1912 born in Liverpool  Father is Thomas Burns. Thankyou

Annie is on 1921 census with her parents,GRO index will show MMN.

It looks as if Annie’s mother was Mary Ann KELLY
Annie's biological father was probably NOT Thomas Burns, however.

Mary Burns (1939 Reg) a widow, dob 5 Oct 1885, at Gerard Gardens
With daughter Ellen (Nellie) 1919, son Thomas 1921, and a Susan Farrell 1920


Mary Ann KELLY married Robert FARRELL in 1905 Liverpool

1911 census Hunter Street Liverpool
Robert Farrell 24 a carter,
 wife Mary Ann Farrell 26
and son Richard Farrell 16 months (who by 1921 becomes Richard Burns)
Robert and Mary Ann had been married 6 years – 3 children born 2 dead and 1 still living.
(GRO - Deceased children - Bartholomew 1905-1906 and Catherine 1908-1908)

Robert FARRELL died in Feb 1915

And then Mary Ann FARRELL married Thomas BURNS in 1918
Thomas Burns died in Dec 1934

I don't see a birth registration for Annie under the surname FARRELL.

Thankyou fir the update. Annie Burns was born in 1912 , at that time Mary ( mother recorded on 1921 census) was married to Robert Farrell. The 1921 census nites all as Burns, Richard & Joseph are Farrell by birth they are not Thomas"s chikdren. Thomas & Mary married after the passing of Richard. I cannot locate any birth/mother details for Annie
