On Ancestry, there is a public tree which might be of interest to you.
The owner appears to know of an extra son of John Robert Bonoitt.
He lists the 4 children from the marriage with Wynona, as mentioned in the newspaper obituary.
Then another son is listed with an unknown mother. None of the 5 children are named, as they will be living still.
Making contact with the owner of the tree may move you closer to the name that you are looking for.

An online tree has the marriage of John Robert to Wynona Sanders as Feb 7 1945
So quite soon after his July return to USA.

My daughter did a DNA test with Ancestry, it was they who reported my daughters possible grandfather was John Bonnoitt  the reading was 732cm shared across 22 DNA segments.  I would like advice regarding another DNA report from Ancestry who have a female (not sure if I can mention her name) with a DNA match of first cousin 1X removed, paternal side, 650cm 9%shared DNA 18 segments. Does this mean that this woman is a close relative of my daughters father.  This woman is an Australian match not American.  I'm sorry DNA research is beyond my capability. I would be grateful for any suggestion.
