Hamilton’s @ Shotts Churchyard
« on: Sunday 13 July 25 05:12 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

Wondering if anyone knows where I could find records to locate the grave of William Hamilton (1783-1858) at Shotts Churchyard.

The civil record for his death in 1858 states that he was buried at Shotts Churchyard, certified by his son William Hamilton.

He was married to Ann Jack. The couple lived at Wester Bogfoot and later at Bowhouse Farm.

My list of Shotts' inscriptions give:

Erected by William Hamilton and Ann Jack his spouse and is the intended burying place ****
Attached photo may help as it shows stone next to a path
