My 3x Great Grandfather Charles Hamilton, Born St Luke’s, Middx in approx 1790,
Served in the Royal Navy in Topaz and Stag. Later he was admitted to Greenwich Naval Hospital as a Greenwich Pensioner, after he went blind.
I’ve found entries for him:
Citation:
"England, United Kingdom records," images, FamilySearch (https://
www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9BW-PQ6F?view=index
: Jun 29, 2025),
image 74 of 127; National Archives (Great Britain).
Image Group Number: 101280133
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9BW-PQ6F?view=inde
But I’m wondering where I can find his Service Record and any further info on these Ships?
Cheers, Romilly.

Try find my past. It's possible to pay for individual records without a subscription.
If you have Ancestry, his first ship was Topaze, c.1819 last one Stag c. 1834

Many thanks fiddlerslass, much appreciated.
I’ve been trying to search on the National Archives Site, but have been going round in circles!
