Death Mary Adams, nee Johnston, Sept 1, 1923
« on: Thursday 10 July 25 03:35 BST (UK) »
Mary Adams was supposed to have died Sept 1, 1923 in Ballyneese/Ballynease, District of Bellaghy. She should have daughters Margaret and Sarah Maria and sons William Johnston Adams, James, and Samuel Thompson Adams. Perhaps an obit would clarify or prove this.
Thanks for any help

Belfast Newsletter 4 September 1923

Died 1 September, much the same wording as the previous one except gives her as relic of late William.

Thank you everyone. I did buy the death certificate on Groni in which her son Wm. J. Adams was present at death, his residence Ballynease. Also bought the death certificate of her daughter Sarah Maria in 1945 at which R. Millar was present which would be the son of her sister Margaret since the father R. Millar died in 1928. Proves to me that Margaret married Robert Millar, which I thought,  despite many online trees saying that Margaret married John Black.
Thanks again, everyone. Peggy

Margaret Millar nee Adams had a daughter Sarah Maria Miller who married Samuel McKnight Aug 4, 1927 in Kilrea 2nd Presbyterian. Her death was supposedly Feb 2, 1988 which is too recent to be on Groni. The place of death was Maghadone, Moneymore, Co. Derry.
Her husband Samuel McKnight supposedly died in 1976 in Maghadone.
Are there any obits/death notices regarding these deaths?
Thank you

Feb 2 1988 is correct, interment to adjoining burying ground of First Moneymore Presbyterian Church. Ulster Newspaper, News Letter (was Belfast Newsletter) 3 Feb 1988

Same newspaper for Samuel on March 27 1976, died March 26 1976.
