Cause of Death 1912
« on: Tuesday 08 July 25 13:26 BST (UK) »
I've attached a clip from a death certificate which was fairly easy to read apart from one word which I can't decipher.
I got the Morbus Cordis easily enough but I can't get the second cause of death.
Any suggestion?

James

I must admit that an AI helped me here. It has interpreted the word as ‘Anasarca’.

Quote
Anasarca is a medical term for generalized, severe swelling of the body due to fluid accumulation, often resulting from heart failure or advanced heart disease.

This fits with morbus cordis = ‘heart disease’.

I'm just happy you got a result for me, no matter how you came about it!

Many thanks for taking the time and coming up trumps.
