Thank you both been very helpful. What I can’t understand is that they married in 1852 but no children till years later. Is that common?

Civil Registration of births didn’t start until 1864, you would need to check the parish register to see if there are baptisms of earlier children.

Records very sparse on NLI for Killanne so I guess that’s that unless somebody can recommend anywhere I can try? Thanks
