Hello everyone, I'm seeking assistance with a couple in my family tree. I am not having any luck with Family Search or other sites, and I'm not sure if I'm looking in the wrong place.
Their names are Friedrich Lober and Elisabeth Schikowski. The surname may appear as Löber in Germany.
They had a daughter named Edeltrud Marie Luise Lober, born 1928. She married a Scottish man named James Bradford Adam in 1953 in Carnoustie, Scotland. James was a Sergeant in the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards. A local newspaper notice of the wedding mentions that Edeltrud was from Paderborn, Germany, and her marriage certificate states that both of her parents are deceased as of her marriage date of 23rd May 1953.
Edeltrud's marriage certificate notes that her father's occupation was a Baker.
I have no further information regarding Friedrich and Elisabeth, and I'm not sure where to look.
Any help would be appreciated if possible. Thank you.
