Hi Mccrorj2512

*   Can you tell us please, where you have sourced this photo from ?

*   [Maybe dependent on where photo comes from ... ]  ... do you have any family names which could be associated with the man  ??

Perhaps a clearer image of the pocket detail would be helpful

A surprising number of sporting bodies, and service personel, were using the silver fern on blazers etc by the 1920's.

There's a photo of the 1928 NZ bowls team

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01tui/

They are wearing an assortment of blazers but the badge is not a fern leaf.

I don't think there were NZ national teams for squash or badminton as early as 1920.

Middx - VAUS, ROBERTS, EVERSFIELD, INMAN, STAR, HOLBECK, WYATT, BICKFORD, SMITH, REDWOOD
Hants - SMALL, HAMMERTON, GRIST, FRYER, TRODD, DAGWELL, PARKER, WOODFORD, CROUTEAR, BECK, BENDELL, KEEPING, HARDING, BULL
Kent - BAYLY, BORER, MITCHELL, PLANE, VERNON, FARRANCE, CHAPMAN, MEDHURST, LOMAX, WYATT, IDEN
Devon - TOPE, BICKFORD, FOSTER
YKS - QUIRK, McGUIRE, BENN

Have attempted to zoom in x4 on the blazer pocket.

It appears to show a silver fern leaf across the outline of a shield.

Is the tie of any significance?

The cricketers weren't wearing any whilst some of the bowls team were.

The video guy looks like the one in the photo you posted but the other photos don't look like him. Maybe another manager?

I am wondering whether there is more in the background of the photograph.
If so, it may be helpful to see the entire picture please.

Sue

PS, As stated the jacket has certainly seen better days.
