Er .... John Croll born 1763 was married at age minus two years old in 1761?
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

John Croll & Isabell CRYSTALL married 27.7.1788  www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Where did you get Isabel's death details from as there is no 1862 death in Manchester?

Have you found Robert Allan & Isabel on the 1851/61 censuses?

Seamans Mates Certificate issued Montrose in 1851 for
Robert Allan born Montrose 15 April 1805

1841 census –  the Allan family, but Robert is away from home.

The son was baptised as Peter Millar Allan in 1839

Robert Allen and Isabella Croll had a daughter Mary born in 1841 in Montrose
In 1851 Mary is living with her grandmother Catherine Croll

By the 1861 census Isabel is a widow living in Montrose with children Mary 19 and James 15.
Therefore Robert Allan had died before 1861.

In 1871 Isabel Allan (age 64) is living with her married daughter Mary Lamond in Leith South.

Isabel died in Leith South in 1872.
Have you downloaded her death certificate to see her parent’s names?

Looking at the information I have posted above and the available baptism records, I would suggest that your Isobell CROALL was the daughter of James CROALL and Catharine SMITH – baptised 24 Sept 1805 in Montrose.

James CROLL and Catharine SMITH married in Montrose on 4 Dec 1796.

I think this will be Catharine Croall (nee Smith) in the 1841 census (same address as in 1851)

Probable burial in Montrose for Catharine SMITH / CROLL (age 81) on 4 July 1853

I see 2 possible burials in Montrose for James CROLL in 1825, or in 1830

Robert Allan’s Mates Certificate of Service in the British Merchant Service (issued 11 March 1851 at Montrose) gives his date of birth as 15 April 1805.
Register ticket 47-769
Address – Commerce street Montrose (same address for his family in 1851 census).
It shows Robert had been apprenticed at the age of 14.
It gives the names of the ships he had worked on.
Since 1830 he had been working out of his home port of Montrose.

There is a burial in Montrose on 29 March 1854 for a Robert Allan (age 52) which might be the right man.
You would need to look at it to know.
Also check the newspapers to see if any mention of him appears.
