Hello. I'm trying to help someone discover

" if a parcel of land was included in the grant the Earl of Cork made to Roger Power 'after the restoration', i'e. some time between 1660 and 1700, possibly before 1680, in Wicklow."

Registry of Deeds only starts in 1709. I can't seem to find anything earlier than will help me.

Anyone have any suggestions please?

Virtual Treasury might be worth a try, odd mix of stuff there but difficult to search.

Only hope, I would think, is if such deeds are included in the estate papers of the Boyle family.
I believe they are held at the University of Galway. I have not checked their online catalog - there is a dedicated site for their estate collection.

p.s. their online catalog may not cover the entire country, just selected provinces.

That is a Roger Power in Co. Waterford. OP is interested in an RP in Co. Wicklow.
One and the same person, or different?
