« on: Tuesday 24 June 25 18:23 BST (UK) »
Hi 👋

I’m have been trying to find out more about my nans grandma Roseanna plumb all I know is that she was born 19 June 1883. Death not been able to find. She has a link to James Henry matthews born 12/8/1880 in Wigan and 2 others jhon Matthews and Eliza but both names I’ve not been able to find their record

Can anyone find out more about the names Eliza, James Henry and Roseanna plumb from the info above

I’d like to find out what they did for jobs, any photos of any kind, their family members if they are recorded, where they lived and where they are buried

Thanks ☺️

Was that her maiden name Plumb do you know or her married name?

Where has her exact date of birth come from?

What was your nans name so we can work back from her?

Every little helps to start us off.

Under Plum a family tree has her married to James Henry Matthews.  Her parents are listed as Joseph and Harriet.  On the 1891 census Harriet is a widow with 3 daughters.

A copy of the marriage certificate from 1906 is on the tree so would be a good idea to contact the tree owner (on ancestry) to see where you are related.

Have you access to that website?

Hi,

I think Roseanna died in 1921,

Rose Ann MATTHEWS    Dec Q 1921    Wigan    8c  29
Age:  38

Her burial can be found here,

https://www.rootschat.com/links/01ttx/

It mentions the same address she was living at in the 1921 census.

Regards,
Daisy
