Richard moved 5 miles to Winchcombe, have you checked the marriages there.

For example there is a Hannah Mansell married William Griffin 1810 perhaps witness names could help.

That Hannah sounds a possibility though.

I have found Ann Griffin bap. 24/3/1811 parents William and Hannah They are living at Prescot.

On the same page William Davis bap. 5/5/1811 parents William and Ann living at Gotherington.

So two different families.

I think Jean must have married someone because I haven't found a burial for her.

Jean might be Joana as Thomas' parents are Richard Mansell and Joana nee Jackson

I wonder if there is any sign of William and Hannah Griffin in a census or as I see there is a church at Prescot(t) there may be parish records records which I don't have at the moment with their daughter Ann(bapt. 24/3/1811 B. Cleeve).
