Hello fellow researchers!
I could use a fresh pair of eyes on a family tree I'm building for my partner – the Haddock family. My research has taken me from Walsall and Kidderminster all the way back through Wales and eventually to Essex and London in the 1400s.
The main point I'm struggling with is the connection to the well-known "Captain Haddocks." I've found another member's tree online that makes a direct link, but I have some doubts and want to be sure before I officially adopt that line.
Would anyone be willing to help me validate the tree I've located? Even just a quick look to see if it seems plausible.
Here is the complete, consolidated male lineage of the Haddock family based on all the images and information you have provided, presented in chronological order from the earliest known ancestor.
* William Haddock (1400-1483), born in Leigh-on-Sea, married Mary Horden (1410-1905)*

* Richard Haddock (also recorded as Captain R Haddock) (c. 1558/1559 - c. 1600/1660), with birthplaces recorded as both Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, and London, married Frances Morgan (1577-1630).

* Joseph Haddock (1878-1948), born in Kidderminster, married Rachel E Penrice (1881-1959).
* Abraham J Haddock (1904-1976), born in Walsall, married Margaret A Haddock (1907-1979).
*Note: The death year for Mary Horden (1905) is likely a typographical error in the source image, as it would imply a lifespan of 495 years.
I would love for someone to confirm or reassure me.
Thanks for your time!
