Only if it actually says Bart. Do you think it does?

Not sure. There is a Hart Dyke of Horeham baronetcy. Was there an AB though.

Thank you for the help, where I'm struggling is discovering who the sender of the letter are.

Sorry I see your replies must have been held up in moderation. Now you have made more than three posts I think that will stop.

I suppose the franker could be W, Peel on the lower one. But very hard to say.  Are there not other copies of his signature about?

The middle one is something like Grinaud/Grinand/Kinnaird but no real clue
The top one sort of looks like David.  But isn’t. It ends in d anyway,

But the person who franked isn’t necessarily the sender of the letter is it.  Anybody could ask someone with this privilege to frank their letter.

I think this must be Daniel James Lee, who was articled to John Dyneley in 1816.
