Help To Decipher Abode/Place Name On 1871 Newcastle All Saints Census

I found a map of the area dating from 1876, possibly linked to the redevelopment of the area. The map is from the Newcastle Libraries Collection, but has no copyright. The full map is linked below and I am attaching a detail. Travellers Entry is labelled just to the west of the 'on' of Pandon Bank'.

I would absolutely love to find out more, there are suggestions of Northern European ancestry through a DNA test. The surname is quite Germanic, but I wouldn’t know the next steps in figuring out where she originates from.

I think buying the M/C is your next step.

Dont be surprised if the surname is Mearns.

The 1856 Marriage Reg is the only entry at all in Lincs for Mayens
Plenty of Mearns.

Yes looks like Jane born and reg before Marriage;

EDIT it looks to me John Cann* may have been married before;

CANNING, MARY mmn KENNEY

JOHN 1854 has mmn as Kenney also

Just to confirm Reuben 1864 had mmn as Means*

Entry was a common part of an address in that type of place. A bit like "Lane" or "Passage". Sometimes these old names don't appear on official documents if it was just what the were known as locally.
