I am having to give my user name and password every time, don’t know why-perhaps I am too “ talkative” and using up too much of something ior other ,
,
A lovely day here too, pork rice and peas for tea, pork done in my old faithful pressure cooker ,as usual I have cooked enough rice to feed half of China!
I  will rinse it and put it for the birds ,the unused portions .
I am never sure about re heating rice.

My Captain Sir Tom rose which looked very sad , has responded to kindness and a good feed and has 22buds !
BU T  ————Horsetail in the side lane abutting my fence —- I have glycophosphate but as we are up a hill above the river ,and such a lot of rain there will be drainage down hill perhaps affecting other gardens and certainly the River Irwell. However it does not like lime ,so that perhaps will be a solution.
A nice neighbour chops it down in his garden does not realise even one little bit can root and start all over again ,the roots go down metres and can and have crossed under motorways .
Always some problem or other.
That and Japanese Knotweed can stop house sales!

Hope all are O.K. I know there are many coping with health problems but they keep their chins up  it seems to me.
Cheerio. Off for a cuppa and The Repair Shop.
Viktoria.

Phew!  It's hot already, around 22 degrees, so by the time we go out again at 4 it Could be scorcio.  We've done our weekly shop and were home by 10 a.m., which was good, but my husband is holding a meeting later on in the nearest town, so we have to be there.  I'll nip into M&S for some cheese - the cheese aisle refrigerators in Tesco were registering under 5 degrees this morning, so they couldn't sell anything from them.  M&S is the only shop nearby which sells Lancashire cheese, so I always stock up when there.  As a Lancastrian I have to keep up with my local cheese, though of course it's packaged, so nowhere near as good as a good chunk freshly cut off the big cheese. "Creamy mild" or "Tasty", anyone?

The pacemaker dressing comes off tomorrow, but there are still 5 weeks to go before I can raise my left arm above shoulder level.  Front fastening tops are the order of the day and I was surprised to find how few of them I have.

Keep on being careful, Gillg, you don't want to pull or stress any bit before it's all settled firmly in. It's probably worse because of the heat - I've wilted today.
Took OH to have the lense bit of one of his cataract lenses" cleaned" yesterday - he'll be glad to be driving again! He hates being driven.
I hate trying to park in the inadequate car park there, so dropped him, went off parked somewhere else, ran back to join him, and after the quick procedure was done, had to dash back, to bring my car round and load him in! Phew, such a hot day, too!

I popped to my daughter to look in on the dog, dog sitter at work, they have a glass apex roof and it is like an oven, the dog isn't well and wants to find a cool spot, left him plenty of water.
When we got home the lounge is 27.5,  I think we need to get the fan down.
Gillg, take care convalescing , have you blouses you can wear? the time will pass soon.
Keep cool

Yes, that's what I'm wearing, but find that those that I have are a bit formal looking, like ones you might wear with a suit!  Today I have put on a much loved button-through dress which is very comfortable on a hot day (now 28 degrees  :o). I'm trying to be patient, but want to do lots of things, all of which would cause me to raise my left arm.  I even had to get my husband to fasten a necklace for me, which he found very fiddly.

Rain is forecast in a few days time and I expect everyone will be moaning about that!

Take care, everyone, and stay hydrated. :)

Take it steady and you will get there. Had mine done just before Christmas and all ok by mid January.
