Hi all,
Hope evryone's having a wonderful summer. I'd like to ask for some help in locating the marriage/deaths of three brothers born c. 1840 in Lambeth. It's a strange family, with people having chaned names a few times. The brothers in question are Thomas Watson b. 1834, Albert Watson b. 1841 and Charles Watson b. 1843. They are the extramarital children of Thomas Trinder (1787-1852) and Frances Watson nee Dodson (1804-). Following the death of his wife Martha, Thomas cohabited with Frances Watson and has three children with her. Thomas and Frances can be seen on Lambeth rough settlement exams, about which more information can be found here:
https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=849100.0Note that the children changed their names for an unknwn reason. Thomas is too old for a GRO registration, but 'Albert' was registered as
TRINDER, THOMAS JAMES AUGUSTUS
Mother's Maiden Surname: DODSON
GRO Reference: 1841 J Quarter in LAMBETH Volume 04 Page 259
and 'Charles' was registered as
TRINDER, CHARLES HENRY ADOLPHUS THOMAS
Mother's Maiden Surname: DODSON
GRO Reference: 1843 M Quarter in LAMBETH
Frances and the three brothers can be found in '51:
