Annie McEvoy
« on: Saturday 14 June 25 21:57 BST (UK) »
I've been trying to find info on my great Aunt for years now but it feels like he just disappeared, so im hoping someone can find something?

Annie McEvoy born 25 Dec 1916 in Longford to Patrick McEvoy and Sarah Ann Nairn.
On her Mothers death record in 1959 the informant is listed as 'Ann Johnston, daughter, Belfast' but I cant find any marriage for her, or anything else after that.

Where have you searched for a possible marriage? Irish Genealogy only has vital records for Northern Ireland counties up to 1921- for later dates check GRONI's database-
https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk/
Added- GRONI's online index covers marrages 75 years or older so until 1950.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

The address of the informant looks to me like 37 Charlotte St Belfast:

The 1960 Belfast street directory on the Lennon Wylie website shows the following entry for Charlotte Street:

37. Johnston, Albert, clerk

There is a marriage in 1970 Sunday Independent of the younger son of Mrs and the late Mr Albert Johnston 37 Charlotte St Belfast 7.

Am I right in reading Ann’s address on the death certificate is 37 Charlotte St.
