« on: Friday 13 June 25 09:07 BST (UK) »
Greetings I have the death record of Thomas Walmsley, he died in Ashton but I can't find the place of berial. He was baptised at the Parochial Chapel of Walton in the Parish of Blackburn, Lancashire and married at Saint Peter 's Church, Liverpool. His wife was babtised C of E at Lancaster, St Mary, Lancashire. Can you advise where to search for the burial of Thomas Walmsley?

If your Thomas was b 1755 he would have been 84yrs old in 1839.  Are you sure you have the right death?

The 1839 death was registered in the Preston Union but that does not cover Ashton.

Where did you get Ashton from as his place of death

"Ashton" most likely refers to Ashton on Ribble, 2 miles west of Preston.

St Andrew, Ashton on Ribble, has graves.

Other Ashtons in Lancashire:
Ashton-in-Makerfield
Ashtin-under-Lyns
Ashton with Stodday (3 miles south of Lancaster)
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

You seem to have quite a variety of area there - Waton-le-Dale (Preston), Liverpool, Lancaster. Who was his wife and when did he marry please. There are a lot of Thomas Walmesleys in Lancashire and wondered how you identified this one as yours

I have the death record of Thomas Walmsley,

Do you mean his actual death cert?  If so - what identifies him as the Thomas b 1755 Blackburn as death & burial entries for the Thomas who died 1839 show he was only 75?

Are you referring to this birth/baptism entry?  If so - Walton Le Dale is not Blackburn

Walton-le-dale until I think 1866 was part of the parish of Blackburn which was very large and encompassed many areas which became parishes in their own right
