It mentions several relatives (including his sister-in-law Alice Jane NIVEN to whom he was bequeathing his cocktail cabinet   ;)).

Just checked Catherine's Irish birth registration -

Middle name registered as "Ardbuckle", born 23 Nov 1907

 ;D  All New Zealand records for her appear to show the spelling as "Arbuckle".   
This includes some 15 or so voting registration listings, where Catherine herself (at some time) has registered her own name.

Died 18 January 1994 :    (According to burial details, she was also known as "Cassie").

Robert SPENCE (junior) married Kathleen* Frances QUIGLEY in 1941.

[Note:  * In the Will of his mother, Margaret SPENCE (Senior), she refers to "Katherine SPENCE (the wife of my said son Robert SPENCE)".      This should have read as "Kathleen" rather than Katherine.  No correction made in Will document. ]
