I can see a newspaper snippet on FindMyPast dated 17th January 1851 - Durham County Advertiser
‘Mr Henry Bailey to Miss Ann Preston Jackson.’

Fascinating thread - You may have this - but just in case - I noticed this Robert Cornwall and family living at Back Queens Street, Manchester in 1851 and I think this address is where Henry, Ann and family were living when their son Robert's birth was registered

Robert   Cornwall 47   Lamp lighter   Ireland
Hanh   Cornwall   Wife 45   Wales
Elizabeth   Cornwall   18
Clara   Cornwall 9

Yes I have all that.

I am going to create a new thread to try and find the marriage. Perhaps Durham

Heywood found the snippet from Newcastle Courant of 17 January 1851.  The marriage is said to be on 15 January in Sunderland.

Other newspapers have the same entry - none have additional information, that I can see.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
