Suggest you try Jewishgen  website.  Many of the Jewish faith fled Russia/Poland.

The name Davis is very English  the Jewishgen site can help with original names perhaps anglicised

for ease of pronunciation and assimilation.

Geneteka Poland has some surnames transcribed as Davis, mostly in Silesia, however looking at the scans it looks more like David. However if they were Russian Polish they could have come from what is now Lithuania, or Eastern parts of modern Poland, rather than Silesia which used to come under Austro Hungarian control.

Think they are in Wardour Street , St James Westminster in 1891, both with what looks like a birthplace of Warsaw, Poland

The son Sandal (aka) Alexander married Bertha Blumstein 1925 reg. St Martin. London

He and Bertha went to USA arriving 11 April 1925.

It looks as though Sandal had already been to USA arriving from New York 23 April 1922 age 28 , he gave the address of 15a Long Acre, the address of his family in previous census.
He also was a Tailor.
