There is a find a grave entry for David Cowan Atkinson born 1885- 1956 and a wife Christina born 1888 - 1973 - Woodland Cemetery. London. Middlesex Ontario.

The name Christina was also used on marriage records for the children of David and Jane/Jean/Christina nee Rogers/Rodgers.

You're very welcome John.  Didn't want to complicate the query for you but the background to Jane may be interesting.  Wondered how "Hillhouse" came to be a middle name used on the marriage ?

Sandra, the Helen Rogers born 1908 Gorbals was actually recorded as Wallace and the illegitimate daughter of Helen Rogers and James Wallace as I have the birth certificate.

I've had a reply from the London Library and it seems that they're no wiser than the rest of us. I can't find a birth cert for Helen in Scotland in either Allison or Rogers?

That is a coincidence because Wallace was the maiden name of John Rodger/Roger's mother, Margaret !!

William Roger and Margaret Wallace did have a son James Wallace born 1872 (brother of John)
