I can find no births for any females born in Scotland as Allison or Rogers between 1900 and 1910. Are we sure she was born in Scotland?

A colleague of mine has found an illegitimate  birth for a Helen Cowan Allison 9 Feb 1908 at Stair, Ayrshire, parents recorded as Jeanie Rodger farm servant and father David Allison ploughman. This would seem to fit other than the father's Christian name and maiden name of Rodger?

Is there a death/divorce for Helen and Arthur between 1945 and 1949 and/or a marriage of Helen to Joseph Jones?
