I believe they misunderstood the question in 1911.
I can put together 8 children
Thomas Bertie born 8 September 1894 (St Thomas ( Peacock Yard)
William born 19 February 1896 (St Thomas 9 Peacock yard)
Frederick John born 1 January 1898 - St Ebbe 5 Twinings? Yard - Dies 1980 as Frederick George Peck same DOB.
Birth reg as George John 1898 mmn Alton
Gertrude Alice reg 1900 ADDED born 20 May 1900 bap St Ebbe - 5 Godfrey's Yard
Berty reg 1902 ---- 24 March 1902- 1957 Rose Hill Cemetery -son of Thomas and Rose
Florence reg. 1904 - ADDED born 1 April 1904, St Ebbe - 5 Godfrey's Yard
Solomon John reg. 1906 born/bap Solomon Jack 4 October 1906 - 5 Godfrey's Yard
William bap 16 May 1911 -- buried 1 June 1911 of 58 High Street
Should he be one month and not 11 months in 1911???
Based on a child every 2 years there is one missing 1908.
They go on to have
Emily Matilda born 13 February 1912 - 58 High Street ADDED buried 20 October 1913 age 20 months - 58 High Street. St Thomas
Harry reg. 1915
Thanks. That's the same set that I've got. The Frederick / George/ John child was probably the Wm John in 1901 census.
Although a gap in children about 1908, I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a 9th child and it was just a case of their inability to count.
