Try looking at British Legion badges, I think it could be one of those.

The angle has distorted it but it looks like a Regimental badge, his tie also looks like a Regimental tie.

Definitely a British Legion badge, on the breast pocket of a blazer or jacket.

The British Legion became the Royal British Legion in 1971, and since then the blazer badge is surmounted by a crown.

Can't read the text around the badge, but maybe "British Legion"?
