A Poor Starting Point
« on: Sunday 08 June 25 14:06 BST (UK) »
Hi Folks, this is a copy of my partner's late Great Aunt and Uncle, William and Emily Greatbatch taken in 1955 in Coleshill Warwickshire on the occasion of their Golden Wedding. I have downloaded it from FindMyPast Newspapers. It appeared in the Coleshill Chronicle and Advertiser dated 14 May 1955. I am not expecting much given the very poor starting point but I was recommended to try here by someone on the Warwickshire Forum. if anyone could do anything at all with it I would be very grateful. Thank you for looking.

It’s here:

OP: I’m guessing that the attachment failed because you tried to upload an image with the same name as you used before. You can’t do that.

and any request for an image improvement has to be approved before it appears on the board.
As far as I am aware one of the criteria for approval may well be that copyright of the image is either held by the OP or they have permission from the copyright holder
I've been questioned prior to approval (not a problem as far as I am concerned, I understand the site rules and obligations) about the above.

Hi Folks, yes I got confused, I thought I had attached the image but it did not appear to be in the post so I tried to attach it again and it said "you have already attached a file with the same name". I am relieved that some of you found it.
Thank you Loord74 that is so much better than the original. I really appreciate you taking the time to help.

Re. your other/original post I see what you mean about the result. I said they were very, very good - an understatement?
