Gov UK applying for copy Will.
« on: Friday 06 June 25 18:32 BST (UK) »
Just wondering if anyone has used the Gov UK website recently to apply for a duplicate/copy Will.

It has been a while since I last ordered but elected to place an order on Monday 26th May 2025. I obtained a payment confirmation reply from a donotreply Gov.UK email address.

I have tried to use the "Contact Us" option on their website without success. Just wondering if anyone else is having problems or issues? I was just checking on progress ( it says Documents Pending beside my order ) and a cursory look on the Gov UK website does not appear to give any timescale for delivery of documents. I may be wrong but I do not recall previous orders taking this long.

Just to clarify this is not a criticism, just a genuine enquiry as to progress.

Many thanks

Steve

I think they are perhaps taking a little longer than usual.

I ordered two wills on 28th May. One arrived yesterday, and the other is still pending.

When I've ordered in the past they have generally arrive within a couple of days.

I waited around 10 days for one recently while another ordered the day before was instant.

Thankyou for your reply rosie99. I will wait until Monday afternoon before attempting to make contact, although I am struggling to find an email address for them.

I assume this isn't an English will?
For those, I apply to probatesearch.service.gov.uk.

Yes its an English will.

I was referring to this website. Have taken Direct out of the main title of this thread to avoid any confusion I may have given.

Have you signed in, and then checked "My Orders"?

Yes, I have already done that, as detailed in the third paragraph of my opening message. See attached screenshot ( although I have removed the potentially sensitive family name I am searching ).
