Jean Olderslaw Livingstone married in Cockpen in 1959
« on: Thursday 05 June 25 22:56 BST (UK) »
Despite this lady having a very unusual middle name (to me anyway) I am unable to find any other info about her - parents, origins, etc.
I am searching on behalf of the lady's granddaughter.
Can anyone help?
TIA
Willison and Pattison (in Glasgow) 1800s on, Kinnes (Perthshire 1600s-1700s & Fife 1800s), Mathieson (Glasgow, Cambuslang, Paisley)

Her death registration gives her mother's maiden surname as HARDIE.

Her birth reg:

LIVINGSTON, JEAN OLDERSHAW
1938
644 / 9 / 280
Kelvingrove

You should purchase all relevant certificates starting with Jean's marriage.

Thank you Neale and Debra, this is great!
I was stumped by this, (was looking for Olderslaw and Livingstone as written in the marriage index)

Jean Oldershaw Livingston or Wilson, aged 78, died in Hamilton in 2016.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
