A note in my records say that a Shafto Coulter was a cousin of “Elizabeth Blenkinsopp”

The page you have posted clearly says Shafto was her brother.
Do you have a reason for believing that is incorrect?

FindMyPast Marriage Bond (transcript only)
William Coulter and Sarah Proctor, 31 Oct 1710, Lesbury

FindMyPast Baptisms (transcripts only)
Father William Coulter, place Lesbury

John Coulter 12 Jul 1711*, Michael Coulter 12 Jul 1711*, Michael Coulter 27 Dec 1712**, Elizabeth - already posted, William 15 Feb 1717, Sarah Coulter 1 Apr 1719, Mary 1 Jun 1721, John 18 Nov 1722, Jonathan 15 Feb 1728, Catherine 19 Jun 1729, Robert 2 Nov 1731

*  John and Michael, sons of Mr William Coulter, buried 13 Jul 1711
**  only instance of a Mother's name appearing on baptism - Sarah

The absence of a mother's name against the above list (one exception) means cannot guarantee it being the same William in all instances?

FindMyPast Burials (transcripts only)

William Coulter, bur 4 Dec 1753, place St John Newcastle - no age recorded*
Sarah Coulter, bur 8 Dec 1771, St Mary Lesbury - no age recorded.

* - the 1753 will is a "William Coulter of Lesbury". It does not mention wife's given name. It does mention a "Joh (sic) Proctor" which is a link to the 1710 marriage bond.

from Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle upon Tyne, VII, No. 26, 1896

Quote
PRESTWICK HALL
...
N. B. Coultherd held Prestwick by Marriage with an heiress of Shaftoe, who held it by Marriage with an heiress of Fenwick. Prestwick contained 100 acres of good land and a good dwelling house described in an advertisement 1805.
...
Mr. Crawford Hodgson believes, but cannot prove, that the Shafto heiress of Prestwick married & Carr, whose descendant Dorothy, daughter and coheiress of Robert and Jane Carr of Prestwick, was married at Ponteland, 14th April, 1726, to Robert Carr of Alnwick and Lesbury, and he thinks another daughter, Mary, became wife of John Coulter of Newcastle, tobacconist, the latter of whom by will dated 15th March, 1742, made charitable bequests to the parish of St. Nicholas, Newcastle, and to Ponteland. The son of this match, Shafto Coulter, voted for Prestwick in 1774, and by will dated 25th March, 1800, devised that estate to his sister Elizabeth, wife of George Blenkinsopp of Whickham.

Hi Tikketyboo

Found the record that said she was widowed
But it from “find my past records”  as enclosed.
They may have misread the records they found.
I downloaded a number of wills but need to interpret them.

I am trying to concentrate on George Blenkinsopp at the moment, I want to find
Out where he lived with Elisabeth when they married and had their children.
Do you have any idea how to find any records for Newcastle upon Tyne, in that time period.
Poll books or similar, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards Jenny
