1841- 1851 census Shadwell London Thomas HILL

Hi, would it be possible to find a Thomas HILL born 1822 in the 1841 census for  Shadwell?
Thomas was convicted in 1845 and sentenced to 7 years' transportation. He listed Shadwell as his native place. His occupation was a Painters labourer.
He stated he had an uncle, Robert HILL, at his native place. Would it also be possible to find Robert HILL born abt 1800? In both the 1841 and 1851 censuses, please
Any assistance would be most appreciated

There is a Thomas Hill (possibly HALL or HOLL) aged 20 at Red Cow Lane Shadwell in 1841, cooper (looks like "cooper j", so probably journeyman cooper?).

Thanks, much appreciated, but on his convict file it states he was a painter's labourer but will keep this one in mind . does it give any other family or members of the household

Looking at it again, I'm not sure that it is HILL, maybe HALL? There are no others of that name at that address.

Are you looking at the Thomas Hill who married Mary Ann Coglin / Coughlan in 1853 Hobart?

I know this doesn't quite tally with the Criminal Register (slightly different date of conviction and age), but is this your Thomas?

"CENTRAL CRIMINAL COURT - SATURDAY ...
Thomas Hill and William Smith, both 16, were found guilty of stealing pickles and other articles the property of James Brook. Smith was sentenced to be imprisoned nine months, and Hill, who had previously been convicted, to seven years' transportation."

So he was born circa 1829 if he was 16 in 1845.
